Anne’s Quilt

I decided for Anne’s quilt that I would not add anything new, pattern wise, and stuck with the circles and geese. The amount of maroon fabric was dwindling so I decided to switch the colors around. I think it brightens the whole quilt and gives it less of an oriental feel. Not that oriental is bad, I just felt it did not fit the fabric. I actually had more planned but regrettably ran out of time :(

I hope Anne likes my addition to her quilt because she deserves a beautiful quilt. You can look at the Flickr page to see how this quilt has evolved through our round robin.

I was in a very big hurry to get this mailed off so we could leave to go camping that the time of day this picture was taken caused some major shadows on the quilt.

This is beautiful, Zonnah! I love that you brought in the lighter colors as backgrounds as well as the way you echoed the previous designs. Happy little octopi! :)

Oh, wow! I love, love, love this! I am so glad you moved away from the maroon and made it brighter. And also that you made the center on point. Unbelievably fantastic!!!!

    How was camping?

I love this!! The bright yellow and placing everything on point worked so well. I think we all must have had some ESP since I also worked on flying geese this round!

This quilt is beautiful! I would love to be able to make quilts. Maybe one day. :-)
