Some of Wingnut’s Favs

Do you remember the baby chicks? Well, here they are almost grown up. They should start laying eggs by fall, just in time for the slow egg laying period, lol.

Last year when we got chickens to slaughter my husband got tired of doing it when he only had one left. Here he is still alive. Wingnut calls him owey chicken because he is mean! Oh and boy is he big. He would make a good turkey sized dinner.

This is goldy my in-laws dog. She LOVES wingnut and is very loyal to him. The whole time he is at their house she is glued to his side and never leaves him.

Your chickens are soooo big! I was thinking about them the other day. We just got a bunch of chicks and I love them. Can barely wait for eggs to start coming. =]

Ohhh, such adorable chickens, even the meanie! We still have not gotten our chickens but plan to soon. We just planned out our coop this week. I was reading about chickens and the winter laying. The article said if you keep a light on in the coop for longer hours than regular winter hours, they will continue to lay during the winter. Thanks for stopping by my blog recently. I’m returning the favor.
