Kris’s Quilt

For this round of Once ‘Round the Country, I was able to work on Kris’s Quilt. The picture below is from Robin and it shows what I received in the mail for my turn.
Kris's block: Round 1
For some reason I just kept having a mental block with this one so what I did do, did not end up to be much. I even put off posting about it incase something came to me but since the send off date is coming up I decided I would just leave it be.

I really love what you did. What you added makes the center block larger which means any new border added on will be very complementary to the center. Kris will love it!

  2. Kris says:

Anne’s right. I do love it! I like that you border really changed the shape of the design. The metamorphosis this quilt keeps going through is truly amazing!

  3. I agree with the others. I like you addition. It made a change to the design and it will now take on a new direction I think. I notice duplicate fabrics being used. Does fabric get mailed around with it to use?

I agree, I really love what you’ve added. It creates nice echoes and themes within the quilt and looks so effortless! Beautiful. But you already know you’re gifted ;-) .

It is a lovely addition, Zonnah! I love how you have brought a new look to it with the white square areas on point. So very cool! Mmmm… still lovin’ those Denyse Schmidt fabrics too. They are happy. :)
