Garden Challenge Link Up

We have been doing some observing of our strawberry plants and going out to see if they have progressed to the next step.

Wingnut is growing his own sunflowers and we are watching them progress and making a photo journal of it.

Garden pics. Not much going on yet and am nowhere near harvesting. It has been a cool spring here so things are having a late start.
Wheat.

Peas and lettuce.

Strawberries.

Squash.

Potatoes.

What have I learned?
Lets see, calm down when wingnut plants too many seeds or pokes them down to far. Also, that there will always be losses.

Sounds like you definitely learned some good things. I think it is wonderful that you bring Wingnut into the entire process. He has got to be learning so much!

Looks like your garden is going to be great when it stars producing the veggies and fruits! I love the idea of the sunflower journal. We will have to do that next year! I will also have to include pictures of our sunflowers in the next garden post. We have one that is over 6ft already!

Your seedlings look great! Planting from seed is sooo much fun, but it can also be frustrating. I hate the whole thinning process, I feel like it is a total waste of seed. Then I have had some seedlings die, for no apparent reason! But I just keep going with it, because the reward of eating something fresh from the grown is soooo great!

Cards on rings are one of my favorites. You can take them anywhere. Our sunflowers are growing big. I can’t wait to get pictures of those blooms. :-)
