Am I the only one that is repulsed by the Toyota highlander commercials with the blond boy? I have lost a bit of respect for them.

    that kid is annoying… little kids will watch that and say “oh it’s ok to treat my parents with no respect and call them names”

    The problem is that there are a lot of parents who probably will go into debt because they have attitudes like that kid. They need think they should have some kind of image whether they can afford it or not. And there are parents who will stupidly make a decision on what kind of car to buy based on their kid’s attitudes.

    There are so many ads I don’t like. Most picture men as being incompetent.

    I also don’t like that commercial. I think Anne pretty much summed up my feelings. I have a 16 year-old Toyota and the fact that it’s still reliable is what I love about it and would make me buy another one. It’s frustrating that they advertise reliable cars and then encourage people to trash them when they get too old.

    I didn’t know which commercial it was until I read the comments. Yes, not a good commercial. Not a good image for kids to try to imitate at all. Very disappointing commercial.
