Once ‘Round the Country

I joined another Bee! I am really happy about this because it is with some of the ladies that were in Snip.Sew.Send with me; Anne, Kris, Robin, Adrienne, and me.

This is my inspiration fabric, I saw it and fell in love :)

This is the fabric I am sending out.

The start of my center block. Look how tiny it is!

The completed block.

Here is the Flickr group if you would like to follow the progress.

You are so amazing! That block is a masterpiece. Now, I’m nervous! But, I love your fabric.

  2. Robin says:

Holy cow, woman! Intricate and gorgeous! Love your inspiration fabric. It is happy. :)

Did you paper piece it? Or is it by hand?

  3. Pixie says:

WOW!!! that is amazing!! i LOVE the fabric!

  4. The colors are wonderful, but the blocks are awesome. So beautiful.
What an artist and talent you are. I wish I could quilt like that. I try but, my work isn’t ever that intrique. I’m more of a “Quick Quilt” kinda’ girl. Keep showing us your work…I love it and am inspired.
    Thanks for sharing.

  5. Kris says:

Wow!! That is amazing. Your patience with itty bitty pieces is incredible. I love the fabric choices and already have an idea for something that might work when I get my chance with it! :)

  6. Karen says:

Such tiny pieces, I love it!!!! And, the fabric is fun!

  7. Jessica says:

Zonnah, as usual you are absolutely inspired and just a little bit nuts! I love this!

I hope one day you create some collection of all the tiny pieces you’ve made through the years [even as a photo collage ... especially if they have those "for reference" sizing items in them like quarters or whatnot]. I think it would be a pretty impressive collection!
