I saw a hammering activity at My Montessori Journey and new I had to do it with Wingnut. I decided to make the most of the pumpkin by starting out with cleaning it

 Then I shared the life cycle of a pumpkin cards from Montessori for Everyone. This is the first time Wingnut used three-part cards correctly! Then I proceeded to show wingnut how to use a hammer. He had a blast.

 After a bit, He decided he wanted to cut open the pumpkin like one of the pictures on the cards, so we did. He then spent quite a long time picking each and every seed out.

After he was done collecting all the seeds I cooked them up. He tried one and spit it right back out, lol.
