Mail Love

Dear Anne once again has been a sweetheart and sent me the leftover state fabric from this astounding quilt. I had mentioned how my son loved the fabric she sent with the bee blocks and how he kept stealing it from me. She offered it to me and I accepted :) Since I feel like she did such a generous thing, I need to start making something out of it ASAP. It is going to be a state quilt for my son. There will be a border of these blocks that you see in the picture, with an outline of all the states put together in the center. I am stealing the outline idea from Anne and how she quilted this block! I just wanted to say THANKS ANNE!

That’s going to be an awesome quilt!!! I love the idea of trimming them and appliqueing each state individually. Very cool. And the quilt will probably be a great learning tool too.

What a cool idea for a quilt. I bet he will love it. Sounds like it would be fun to do also. What a generous thing for Anne to do. “Like!”
