Toddler Tuesday – 33 months

Toddler Tuesday is brought to you from One Hook Wonder. Go there to see others :)

Using Tweezers using fingers to grasp pom poms. And look he is wearing cloths, lol.

Some touch tablets I purchased from here. They are supper cute. Lets just say there was no matching going on or feeling really, he just wanted to put them on his cars and drive them around :)

Knobbed Cylinders. He did all four by themselves with ease but once I tried giving him two at a time he stopped doing it. So I think I will just put all four out and let him just pick which ones he wants to use.

Playing with playdoh. We made it then played with it. Yes, I do let him mix all the colors together.

Impromptu sewing lesson. I was sewing and had to get up regularly to use the iron and every time I would do that he would stick his paper in and proceed to sew. When I came back I would have to make sure all the settings were right. Oh and then he found the scissors and cut up the thread. At that point I directed him to a more constructive use of the scissors by cutting the tread for me when I was done with a seam.

Now that I think about it, sewing on thick paper like this would be a great first lesson.

Oh and wingnut has started to microwave his own food. I decided to turn it into a number lesson. I tell him to find the two, then find the zero and then find start. Seriously, it is hard to stop this kid from doing what he wants to do. So I have to make sure I just train him the right way to do things. I have a feeling we will have problems when he becomes a teenager.

Does that mean that the toilet training is making progress?! Yay! Those knobbed cylinders look like a great activity. Did you make them? Are they different sizes?

When I taught us how to sew in home ec class, they had us first use paper without thread. They figured you should learn to guide the machine and then sew with thread. The paper had patterns and since the machine punched holes in the lines, it was easy to judge your progress.

I love that you’re the kind of mom that lets her kid mix all the play dough colors together. :) Thanks for linking up to Toddler Tuesday.
