This weeks open ended art at Growing and Learning by Leaps and Bounds was Pumpkins. Well, we did not use a pumpkin but it was in the squash family. I gave him a squash, markers, towel, and spray bottle with water in it. The idea was for him to draw on the squash and then clean it off. Well, after putting some very small marks on it all he wanted to do was use the spray bottle

They yesterday my son completely surprised me by coloring in the lines. The picture was drawn by my brother-in-law who is twelve. The coloring was done by my son. I was impressed.
