Menu Plan Monday – Sep. 28th

Budget: $400 a month
Current spending: $235
$165 left till Oct. 20th

I think we will make it. We have all the dinners, and breakfasts till then. It seams like the dinners are sometimes leaving a lunch or two. I also got a ton of soup for 24 cents a can and a ton of pasta for 50 cents a box. All in all I think we are doing good :)

Here is my meal plan for the week: (Take a look at other menus at orgjunkie.com!)

These dinners came from the September menu from Once a Month Mom.

Last Week Review:

Deconstructed Broccoli and Cheese Stuffed Chicken – This was really good and I will make it again!

Chicken and Chilies Casserole – I was not very impressed with this one but my husband loved it!

White Chicken Chili- This was ok but I don’t think I will make it again. I think I just might not like chicken in my chili.

Parmesan Paprika Pork Chops - Oh my word these were soooooo good!!!!!!!

 pork chop

Apple Streusel Muffins – These were really good. Although next time I will use less sugar then called for because they were super sweet.

  1. Sorry you didn’t fall in love with the White Chicken Chili. It’s one of my favorite dishes. I do a lot of McCormick dishes when I am pressed for time.

    Those Streusel muffins sound yummy!

what a great week! those pear pancakes are tempting me (we have pears on our counter that are just about ripe!), as are the eggwiches. LOVE breakfast foods :)

Sounds like a tasty week! Those pork chops do sound (and look) yummy!

We seriously love falafel sandwiches around here. I could eat them several times a week!

  5. Emily says:

Mmmm, I love White Chicken Chili! My recipe is a little different than that one though, but I never get to eat it because unfortunately my hubby doesn’t care for soup much :-(

Thanks for stopping by my blog. The chicken pictured above looks delicious.
