Opened Ended Art: Yellow and Print

This weeks open ended art at Teaching My Little Bookworm was yellow and printing. What better way to do this then to print with yellow lemons, right? All I got to say is this was the most fun he has had with art. He just wanted to keep going and going. He also wanted to use blue after a while so I let him. Although I forgot to take a pic of the blue prints.

Oh, how I wish I read some other entries before we got started :) Your prints turned out great, and I like it that you let him try more colors when he wanted to.

What an absolutely beautiful blog! We participated, for the first time, in the Open-Ended Art this week and I’m so glad I stumbled upon yours as well. I love the idea of using lemons as prints; we’d done apples a while back but I know she’d love to revisit it with lemons.

I can’t wait to go back into your blog and get other ideas (and your photos are just gorgeous!).

I wanted to do similar like this using cookie cutter for greeting cards. Strike out when I could not find them. This is a neat idea. Another which you might find it useful (my niece gave me the idea) is to use boxes from toothpaste/cosmetics/etc instead.
