Wingnut’s Art Center

I have been reading a lot about having an open art center for toddlers and really want to do it. I know paint, glue, markers, and other messy art stuff all open for him to get into is scary, but so far so good. He has been really responsible with the art materials so far. I do have a pretty small house and so it is easy to know when he is using the stuff and to be able to keep an eye on him. One of the benefits to a small house :) For the art center I wanted him to have a desk that was his size to work on. We went to Ikea and found a steal of a deal on a chair and table for twenty dollars. Wingnut loves it :)

I also took a picture frame mat and taped a picture he painted to the back and hung it above his desk. As he makes new pictures I will rotate them.

That is so awesome! Wingnut’s art center looks perfect. I really like that you hung his paint for inspiration. =]

That is so cool. And Wingnut’s artwork is amazing! I’d hang that on MY wall! :)
