At Teaching My Little Bookworm, the theme for the opened ended art for this week was yellow and painting. I had seen the recipe and pictures of sidewalk chalk paint around blog land recently and decided to give it a go. The recipe is:

1 part water
1 part cornstarch
food coloring

It worked like a charm. When it dries it looks like chalk. I have not hosed it down yet so not sure if it comes off nicely Anyways, he hated it. This is all he did and refused to do it again, lol.
