First Purchase

This is my first true Montessori purchase. They are color tablets. You can do matching activities with them and do a three part lesson with them to teach colors. The theory is that for a child to grasp colors quicker it needs to be in a form where they know it is the color you are talking about. Instead of a blue car and a blue pencil. These color tablets cannot be anything other the color.

Interesting! My boy just started spouting off the names of colors one day as he was playing with his markers. For about 3 weeks afterwards, he was naming the colors of just about everything that crossed our path. :P I’m curious to see how the tablets help Wingnut.
