LOL at me! This was an interesting process to me. I spent 2 hours practicing with a foot that I thought was a free motion foot and no matter what I would do I could not get the tension right. I was stumped. Then I was reading some of the other comments people made and someone mentioned the foot going up and down with the needle. That is when I did a little research and found out that I had the wrong foot. Still don’t know what my original foot was for. It looks like the darning/free motion foot, it  just does not go up and down. I ordered a foot from a really nice lady off of ebay and it came two days later. How sweet is that. So I did a practice run again on a doll quilt I was playing with, and the foot works. Now I am planning a day to do my quilting.
The rose in the center was paper pieced. I had never paper pieced before and wanted to try it out. Can I say I am in love. Sorry hubby you have been replaced, no just kidding. But I really do like paper piecing. I think I might do it on my husbands quilt that I have been dreaming about in my head
