Question?

So, just recently I have started to get comments on my site. I am very thankful for that but it has left me confused in one area, responding to comments etiquette. So I have a question for everyone. Do I respond in my comments, or in an email? I would love to know everyones answer. Thanks in advance.

I think, typically, most people (me included) use email. I do it mostly because I think it’s more personal that way, but also because I’m worried that if I answer a question in the comments, it may get lost. But, the downside to that is that not every commenter has an email attached to their comment that I can respond to. On the rare occasion when there is a question that seems like other people might appreciate hearing my response– I go ahead and address that in another post.

I notice some bloggers (like Elizabeth at Oh, Fransson! or amandajean at crazymomquilts) do respond in comments… but I have a suspicion that part of that has to do with the fact they get so dang many comments. I don’t really have that problem. :P

I guess what it comes down to is that you should do what works best for you. :)
