I must apologize for my site being down so much lately. It seams like when it rains it pours, right? It started out with a bad hard drive. Luckily, my husband was able to recover everything. But then we had a scare because there was a gig of stuff that he could not recover. At first he was not too worried because that is what backups are for. Well, awhile back one of our friends site, that we host, got hacked causing our backups to never complete all the way. They would stop at about 75%. Since my site starts with “Z” it was not getting backed up. Oh that got my heart a beating. But we realized my site was fine. The bulk of what was not recovered was stuff that was not important. But then the raid controller started to go bad. We then ordered new hard drives and switched from a hardware controller to a software one. When the hard drives arrived they did not work. Ended up that they needed a patch to work. But of coarse we did not find this out till after a few bad installs.
After all of that and hard work from my hubby, I am back. I am so excited. I’ve really missed being able to share my work with everyone. I have quite a few things to share. So, tonight when I have more time I will get my pictures in order and start sharing!
