This is my first quilt ever, and I am addicted already! Quilting goes good with my everything has to be just so and symmetrical personality. I made this for a good friend who just had a little boy. I love the fabric. I saw the monster fabric at the store and knew that I had to use it. Right by the monster fabric was the eye fabric and I knew I had to use it as well.

So in the picture it looks like black and white polka dots but it is the monsters eyes. I did a simple pin wheel design which was not hard just a lot of triangles. On the edging I did little triangles which turned out really well and symbolizes the monsters teeth. LOL. The hardest part was the quilting. I thought I would be tricky and quilt the top with white and the back with clear thread. Bad idea clear thread on the bobbin made me have to adjust the tension non stop. As the bobbin got used up I had to keep tightening up the tension. I also learned the importance on continuous quilting is nice. I did not do that and ended up with a lot of ends to tie in
