The last couple of months has been a daze. I feel like everything is on hold till he is older. Doing things is hard right now. An example is washing the car, near impossible with Wingnut. I start then have to stop then start then stop. Not fun. Another example is going on vacation, not only does it mess his schedule up but we can no longer just get up and go. Soon he will no longer be on breast milk which will help tremendously and he will be able to do things for longer periods of time. That is what I am looking forward to. So in the mean time I decided to take action in another area. I got a gym membership. I am so happy about this. I have 10 pounds to go till I am back to my pre pregnant weight. It seems that I am just stuck at the current weight and need this little extra work to take it off. Also, it makes me feel better when I am done.

Now on to some info about Wingnut. He is sitting without support now. Every now and then he will fall, but for the most part he is stable. Mobile wise he is scooting all over the floor. Not yet crawling but close. So I went around and plugged up outlets and made sure there was nothing small on the floor and things like that. Also, we refinished our hard wood floors so he no longer will be on the dirty carpet. The floors turned out amazing! My husband did a great job.
He had an accident that was sort of my fault not thinking and just pure accident. I put him in his swing briefly while I was going to wash my hands and within 3 seconds he flipped himself out of it and landed face down on the floor. Luckily the swing is really low to the ground so there were no injuries. He cried for maybe 10 seconds and then stopped. I think it shocked him more then anything. Now looking back it was really funny one of those moments you wish you could have recorded.

He fell asleep holding the usb cable. LOL
His sleep is back to normal again. For awhile there he was waking up randomly. We eliminated any nap after six in the evening to make sure he is tired when he goes to sleep. This has helped out a lot. In the mornings he has started to flip over in his crib, pull the bumpers down and watch the dogs. I like this because he stays content for awhile longer allowing me to sleep a few extra minutes in the morning.

Here he is watching TV.
We found another movie he likes, Happily N’ever After. I think it might be the bright colors and the music they use. He will sit there and stare at the TV for a long period of time watching the movie. Yeah, a break for me.
Another thing he is liking is his food. So far his favorites are sweet potatoes and prunes. Here soon we will start adding in the meat and see how he does. I have taken out the rice and added oatmeal. He likes it. Next will be wheat.
He likes his showers still but hates his baths. So I decided to get in the tub with him to see if it would help him stay calmer. It did, well at lest he was not screaming. So I sat there with him moving his toys around trying to get him to play with them. About 15 minutes later he finally relaxed enough to notice his toys. I think tomorrow I will do it again.

He is loving his books. We got him a touch and feel book that he loves. It has animals in it and on one of the pages is a cat and you can touch it’s whiskers. It is cute watching him pull on them. Also, he loves turning pages back and forth back and forth.
He did his first drawing the other day. LOL. We had him on the couch and did not realize there was a pen on it. But of course he did. He grabbed it and drew all over the couch. Thankfully we have a leather couch so it came right off.
Vocally he is making new noises that seem more human then his typical grunt. But still not noises that could be mistaken for words.
