What I have been doing

Not much. I have bed ridden myself to conquer my swelling ankles, feet, legs, belly, hands, and face. So while laying down I have been doing tons of knitting.

I absolutely love these pants! They are so cute, and very easy to make. I used leftover Sirdar Snuggly Magic that was laying around the house. It used a little less then one ball of it. I still have one more ball to use I am thinking a hat and mitts but we will see.

Cocktail Capelet. I personally would not wear this not because I don’t like it, but because I am not that outgoing in my attire. So I used up some leftover yarn to make this for one of my friends. I hope she will like it.

Ruffled Surplice. I made this for my mom and failed to take a pic of it before I gave it to her. She absolutely loved it. I will have to make her wear it the next time she comes over so I can take a pic for you guys.

I am making something for me finally. I found the yarn at elann.com it is there cotton called Sonata. My feelings on it is mixed. I like knitting with cotton, so I like it in that way, but they did not spin it to well. Every so often I get a extra twist in one of the singles so a little twirly loop comes out of it. So far only one skein out of 3 has been like that. I decided to make this tank fit me after pregnancy. I was having a really hard deciding to do it that way or knit it for the size I will be after my boobs go back to normal. Since the yarn was pretty cheap and the pattern an easy knit I choose right after being pregnant.

While knitting I have been using my new iPod shuffle to listen to the book series I have been reading. Woot! Reading and knitting at the same time. Well, I guess it is listening to my book and knitting at the same time.

Then to give myself a knitting break I have been doing a bit of Sudoku.

Hopefully WingNut comes soon so I don’t have to lay down for much longer.

I like your pictures, they turned out really pretty.
Especially the flowers! Good idea adding flowers to your knit pics.
