My husband is very homophobic. He refuses to wear anything that might make him look homosexual. This is a problem for me because I can’t knit him anything. He says no to scarves, gloves, hats, and sweaters to name a few. But miraculously the other day we were watching final fantasy seven and one of the guys in the movie was wearing a sweater vest. So I said to my husband look he is wearing a sweater and he is not gay. And my husband gave me a surprising reply of, “that’s not a sweater it is a vest. I would wear a vest.” I said, “So if I make you a sweater vest you would wear it?” “Yes, as long as it looks exactly like that.”

I am so excited, I finally can make my man something. So luckily the vest is just made out of ribbing. Defiantly a quick easy knit. Not sure when I will start this but hopefully within 2007.
