The ultrasound went great! We have a healthy little boy! Although he is a bit bigger then the average 20 week or 5 month old baby. Average length from crown to rump is 16 cm. Our little boy is 17 cm. Also, the average weight is 9 oz. and our baby is 1 pound. Yes you heard right. Now for those of you who do not know one pound is equal to 16 oz. My first fear was, great a large baby has to come out of me, CRAP! But I soon got over that and then started worrying about if something was wrong and that was why he is so big. But after talking to other people, I felt better. There can be many reasons, like maybe I am a little further along then we think or maybe he just had a growth spurt. I have a doctor’s appointment in a week so I will discus this with my midwife.
