My niece invited me to go on a field trip with her. Both of us were excited to be going. The destination was a park that has a trail that leads to the beach. It was a beautiful hike.

I have some pictures to share…

The first one is of my niece eating the trail mix the school provided for the hike.

This picture my niece took. She did an excellent job.

The next few pictures are of her at the beach. I think this was the part she enjoyed the most. On the beach there were hundreds of crabs, so my niece and the boys were trying to find the biggest crab. She is a little bit of a tom boy. I guess she can not help it when she lives with her brother and her mom who has always been a tom boy.

This picture is of a bird that my niece begged me to take a picture of.

When we were done at the beach we headed back and the kids played in the park on the toys. My niece surprised me here. I thought she would play on the toys with all the other kids and be social; instead she stayed by me the whole time. Poor thing, she is like me. One day she will realize she needs to become less shy.

The last picture is of her teacher, wore out after a long day. My niece took this picture as well.
