A friend of mine asked me to make her a scarf like the one I made earlier. She provided the some great multi brown colored yarn for it. Forgetting that the scarf takes a bit of yarn I did not realize until almost done with it that I was not going to have enough to finish. So I went to the place she bought it to see if they had more. They did not, and I can’t get it anywhere else. The reason, it came from a lady who dyes her own yarn. So the only option I can think of without having to undue all of it is finding some yarn that matches one of the colors in the scarf. I could then either add fringe or and on to each in, making the ends of the scarf a solid color and the center the variegated yarn. So we will see what my friend decides to do.
