I was perusing the knitting blogs I really like and saw someone post about the new interweave knitting magazine preview, and what they would like to make out of it. I thought that I should do the same, but with the vogue knitting magazine. There are a couple of items I would like to make. One is a fair isle vest that zips up the front, but I could not find a picture of it. I want to make this one because it is:1. fair isle and:2. I do not have a vest and would like to try one out.

Here are the others.

This one I like because the sleeves are picked up and knitted instead of sewn on. Also, I like the slanted zipper which when unzipped would make a really cute collar for the sweater.

I am going to make this one at some time. It is the sole reason for getting the magazine. I fell in love with this skirt the second I saw it.

I liked this pattern because it was simple and classic. It would also look good in a solid color. Very versatile pattern that could be altered very easy.
