A Story

For the knitting news I finally finished my skirt. I learned how to do three new things: short rows, Kitchener stitch, and pick up stitches on an edge.

The pattern was Shocking! Jacket and Skirt—Véronik Avery from the interweave knits winter 2004 issue. I used Debbie Bliss Merino aran.

For the non-knitting story.

I was at my breakfast nook playing cards with some friends, when I saw my neighbor walking by his house. He was staring into our window looking at us. So, I decided to be friendly and wave. He waved back. Now here is the kicker. Right after he waved he turned faced his house and started to go pee. Can you believe that? I died laughing it was so funny.

Here is a picture of my view out my window. Keep in mind the house you see next door is a work in progress, and my house is old and from the 1930.
