Have you ever heard of freezing rain? It is quite weird. It comes down like rain but the instance it hits the ground it is frozen. We went to Portland Oregon to visit a friend and got stuck down there because of the freezing rain. Our car was an ice cube. It had a coating of about a fourth of an inch all over the car and icicles hanging from it. Watching the news was interesting. They showed so many wrecks. What I do not understand is when conditions are that bad why don't people just stay home. No job is worth your life in my opinion. Other news. I finished the baby blanket I have been knitting. I will take some picks later and post them. Now I am waiting for the new yarn to come in so that I can make one more for someone else that is having a baby. My deadline will be Feb. 6. That is when her baby shower is. I work better when I have deadlines, or it just won't get done.
